Last day in Iceland today.
I saw mountains, waterfalls, tectonic plates and was given a Viking baptism by the geyser, Strokkur.
This trip has been nothing short of amazing and anyone looking for a new adventure in a place with stunning scenery, friendly people, great food and the feeling of magic in air should definitely check it out.

We should have gone to Kiev in April to see the sites and have a day trip into Chornobyl but unfortunately it was cancelled due to COVID-19 that aside the whole process of enquiry to booking was so easy and smooth with Gillian.

Within days she'd found us so many amazing options and deals ranging in all price groups so it really could be tailored to suit all our needs. Her knowledge and tips on the area we're so detailed and helpful that she really made the booking process easy and exciting.

Once the rumours of thr initial lock down started to circulate she was straight in touch to advise she was on the case and keeping a close eye on the situation. Unfortunately our trip was cancelled but again she made that process as painless as possible for us and offered us a full refund or to move the booking. As everything was so uncertain we decided to have the full refund for now and we can always rebook when the situation is better. We didn't have to lift a finger Gill took care of it all and even under what must have been a really tough and stressful situation she was calm, composed, professional and still smiling! I will definitely be using her services again!

Gillian is brilliant. She somehow found us the actual perfect honeymoon from a very vague description of 'cold and cosy, with fun activities', in a country we had never considered but now want to live in! She was so great while we were there too, as we had a bit of confusion with the order of things and nights in various accommodations but Gillian soon sorted it and got us more than we hoped for. This is like being taken on holiday when you were a child and your parents did all the work, but without actually going away with your parents. 10/10

I have used Gillian twice now to book group ski holidays. On both occasions she has surpassed expectations! With one group she was able to arrange new accommodation and a refund when some of our group had to pull out having paid the full cost of the holiday. On the second she was able to find perfect accommodation and meet some challenging requirements for location, cost and quality that my internet searches could not achieve. Great value and really takes the time to understand the clients groups needs to allow her to suggest better options.

After my partner booked a 60th Birthday holiday surprise for July 2020 to Lake Garda, I could not believe how lucky I was and so looking forward to it, only to be totally disappointed with the COVID-19 lockdown and everything was cancelled. After speaking with Gillian, who was so helpful and reassuring, she cancelled and transferred the booking to July 2021 with all the headaches removed and even a refund to boot - everything was taken care of and nothing was too much trouble, even the car parking was sorted! We have just returned from our amazing 3 week adventure to Canada. A week in Toronto, a week in the Rockies and a week in Vancouver. Gill was brilliant, she took our budget, our rough ideas and organised it all, hotels, flights, whale watching, RV hire, transfers etc etc...
No hitches, no hiccups but I knew she was there if needed.

Gill managed to sort out a last minute holiday on a Sunday aswell for me with no problems at all . She got exactly what I asked for and tended to all my needs.  She isn't like speaking to a normal travel agent but more like a friend that's more than happy to help. Gill helped with everything from sorting out an email that was set up as a surprise for my wife to a welcome home card when we arrived back home. Can't thank her enough and will be using Gill again. Having FINALLY recovered from the first 'proper' grown-up holiday in many years, I have to say, Gill absolutely aced it!! From initial "we need a holiday", to "how many bikini's does one girl need', via an unexpected Queen tribute night, our experience with Not Just Travel was one we'd recommend to EVERYone.
Gill covered everything; dealt with every single aspect of the holiday we dreamed of. From first ideas, to car shennanigans (our end!!), insurance, flights, even down to the choice of sandwich on the 'plane!!
